Love this app for all my exercise. I use it almost daily to track my minutes. Easy to use.

I love the layout and the easy navigation. You cant beat it for the price and the thought behind it.

While there are snazzier looking GPS apps around, I keep coming back to MotionX for the quality of the maps - especially terrain - and reliability. Have been exploring many backroads in the States and Canada and it usually has things mapped out correctly. A good complement to a dedicated GPS unit when traveling in the middle of nowhere as a group.

This app switched from an Open Source Map style to their own map tiles in 2016. Now it is almost impossible to discern details on terrain maps because there is no color contrast, e.g. land is brown/green, water is green, roads, trails and contour lines are all brown - gimme a break!

This app works! Its fast, its accurate, and its useful. I used it for off road motorcycle, vehicle, walking, and hiking. Its very accurate and even records in the background. It lets you save offline maps in the areas you want. Its lets record tracks. It gives you feed back on elevation distance and speed. It does everything my 600$ GPS does and does it better. Gives you options for different types of maps, and detail levels of said maps. Get it, it works!

Has lots of useful features, but lots of really irritating ones. Has a good selection of map overlay alternatives, which is handy, measuring tool I use quite often... But some things drive me nuts. The grouping of the waypoints is stupid. I dont want that feature at all, a lot of the features I map out are ~10 m away from each other. This makes a difficult to follow map. Use pins, like GPS tracks. I cant export maps as I dont use the stock mail app. No support to send the file to an application. This is just lazy. Come on.

I use this when I am traveling overseas or in places without reliable networking connection, so I really appreciate the map download feature. I ran a sniffer on the network traffic while running the app, and I am glad to report that this app is very well behaved. It does not seek to leak analytics or other user information. Good job!

Because of the iOS update, MotionX shows Apple Map when Google Map is chosen. Id like to use both Apple Map and REAL Google Map with MotionX. So hoping an update soon.

Sharing to Facebook stops at 98% then it gives an error: A0 though I have a good connection and the latest version of MotionX. Could you solve this problem and I give you 5 stars.

Very nicely made. I use it to make track logs for geotagging photos.

This app is very useful. with this app I dont need any other GPS device. all functions satisfies me.

これが有るから、iPhone 買ってる。 地形図、航空写真など種類多いマップ 選べ、目的地への方位、距離、所要時間、VMG、針路、waypoint 登録などは勿論、合計 上昇、合計 下降 など 高機能。 予備電池、ソーラー有ればGarmin 専用機より安くて優れモノ！ 唯一 短所は、iPhone が-3℃以下で、急激に動作終了、一気に電池切れなるコト！ ご注意を！

Effective and high accury

Still they didnt do multiple waypoint navigation. Except this, wonderful app for nav.
